Bosworth stated that he joined the reserve to continue his family's military tradition and also received support from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. This reflects the deepening relationship between Silicon Valley and the Pentagon in recent years. In the past, many technology companies were cautious about collaborating with the military. Recently, Meta and OpenAI have adjusted their policies, and their cooperation with the military has deepened continuously.

The newly formed Innovation Brigade is called Task Force 201, inspired by the HTTP status code 201, which indicates the creation of new resources. Members of this task force will serve approximately 120 hours per year to bring their knowledge and experience in the tech field into the military. During this process, they will focus on advancing artificial intelligence and its application in the military, helping soldiers master the use of AI systems, and improving health data management.

Although the main mission of these tech executives is not to participate in combat, their backgrounds will make the military more competitive in future wars. General Randy George, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, stated that the military needs to accelerate its pace to adapt to future war forms, including the use of high-tech means such as ground robots and drones.

To smoothly adapt to military life, these executives need to complete physical fitness tests and shooting training. Bosworth and Weil, among others, expressed their anticipation for this challenge while also realizing they may face some difficulties in terms of physical fitness. Although they are excellent in the tech field, they still lag behind soldiers in terms of physical fitness.

Their joining not only injects fresh blood into the military but also opens up new directions for the deep integration of technology and the military. The establishment of Task Force 201 marks a new chapter in the cooperation between the tech industry and the military. Future military operations will rely more on advanced technology and intelligent means.
