According to the cooperation agreement between the two parties, SAP will explore connecting its services to Alibaba's Qwen large model. This integration will enable enterprises to flexibly deploy SAP's ERP Cloud and private cloud versions on Alibaba Cloud. Initially, both parties will focus on expanding the Chinese market and plan to gradually extend to regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
As a hyper-scale cloud service provider for SAP, Alibaba Cloud will provide scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions for enterprise customers across various industries. This will help businesses deploy "SAP Integrated Business Planning Cloud," while also initiating the digital transformation journey through RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP. Moreover, Alibaba Cloud will participate in SAP's latest Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) certification program to fully support customers running SAP enterprise solutions.
SAP also plans to connect Alibaba Cloud's Qwen large model to its Generative AI Hub within AI Core. This will allow enterprise customers to use localized generative AI functions in SAP applications and customized AI applications, achieving intelligent upgrades and development.
It is worth noting that Alibaba Group will deploy a full suite of SAP solutions including SAP Business AI, Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Ariba Procurement Cloud.
