He stated that as a tech giant with a market value of trillions, Apple has failed to even develop basic models and products in the AI battlefield, likening it to Einstein participating in a kindergarten math competition and losing, vividly highlighting Apple's awkward situation in the AI competition.
Zhou Hongyi further stated that Apple is now facing a critical decision: whether to continue going it alone or find an AI expert to partner with. He also used a vivid metaphor, saying that if users have the latest iPhone but cannot access the most advanced AI features, it is like buying a Ferrari but only driving it at 20 miles per hour, which is exactly the experience many users currently have with Apple phones.
